AutoSwithc Model PEC-114
CNG "Low Fuel" Indicator for Natural Gas Vehicles
What It Does
This is an economical, easily installed device that senses CNG tank pressure and "tells" the operator when it will be necessary to switch to gasoline. This is especially helpful information for operators of dual-fuel vehicles that are carbureted and require a fuel change-over procedure. It is also useful for operators of dedicated off-road industrial vehicles and transit buses.
Installation: the PEC-114 pressure sensor mounts anywhere on the high pressure side of the system, using 1/4" NPT fittings. The indicating lamp easily installs in the dash, and it is connected to the sensor with a weatherproof cable assembly.
Operation: Auto/Switch devices are designed to work with 2400-3600 psi systems. When pressure in the tank falls to 250 psi, the PEC-114 sensor switches on the indicating lamp. The lamp goes off when pressure rises to 350 psi.
